This prestigious £Multi-Billion FTSE 100 Financial Services Firm is experiencing rapid global expansion and investing heavily in its award-winning Sourcing Hub. As a result, the firm has created a new position for an ambitious Indirect Strategic Sourcing expert .

As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist , you will receive one-to-one training from senior sponsors to support your progression within 12 months and have a unique opportunity to develop expertise in untapped spend categories.

Key responsibilities include:

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in contract drafting, negotiations with global suppliers, and collaboration with senior stakeholders and legal teams.
• Supporting Global Category Managers in implementing procurement strategies for various categories, including supplier management.
• Driving compliance and best practices in the Strategic Sourcing process.
• Creating RFIs & RFPs for major procurement projects, handling complex tenders from start to finish.
• Reporting to the Procurement & Supplier Management Director and participating in a tailored development program aimed at promotion to management within 12-18 months.

Minimum requirements:

• Proven experience in Indirect Procurement across multiple sub-categories.
• Experience in strategic procurement with strong analytical skills.
• Managing end-to-end procurement projects.
• Degree from a leading institution.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and supplier contracts, with contract drafting and negotiation experience.
• Ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders and legal experts in a commercially savvy environment.
