Objective

  • To develop good working relationships with operations, production and other departments.
  • To carry out quality checks and related tasks on a routine basis and maintain food safety controls through direct policing and immediate corrective action.
  • Lead and develop a pro‑active and employee engaging, problem‑solving attitude in the workplace.
  • Support projects & improvement activities.
  • Deputy to Technical Manager for factory related QA activities.

Performance measures

  • Completion of tasks against an agreed work schedule.
  • Development of good working relationships with all staff at all levels.
  • Implementation of preventative actions.
  • Improving efficiencies and hygiene in the production environment.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Previous experience within a food quality/technical role.
  • Internal auditor qualification
  • Level 3 HACCP & Food Hygiene
  • Computer Literate (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point)
  • Confident, Passionate & Assertive outgoing nature Essential Food Manufacturing Experience
