About the Company
Our global client, which consists of a group of companies, has a great opportunity in one of their businesses related to the construction industry. They are expanding their marketing department and require a Marketing Assistant to support their Marketing Manager with the day-to-day marketing functions. This role is working in a small, dynamic and friendly team. This office‐based role will be working in modern offices with a lovely wider team of people, and has the opportunity to develop further marketing skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and production of marketing literature for promotional events, including conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Manage social media channels, overseeing content creation and audience engagement.
- Track and analyse marketing campaign performance, using insights to optimise future initiatives.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver cohesive and effective communication strategies.
- Design and produce print marketing collateral using InDesign.
- Conduct detailed competitor analysis across target geographical markets.
- Support website adaptations.
- Order and procure marketing merchandise.
Qualifications
- A degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
- At least 2 years' experience working in a marketing role.
Required Skills
- A strong overall skill set, particularly in Microsoft Office, digital marketing tools, and social media platforms.
- Proficient across the full Adobe Creative Suite to support the creation of brochures, flyers, and image edits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident using a wide range of social media channels.
- A good understanding of Google tools and SEO principles.
- A creative mindset with fresh ideas and a keen eye for detail.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, manage deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
- Able to attend events and possibly an overnight stay, should it be required.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 Per Annum.
This role is commutable from: Stafford, Stone, Trentham, Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Market Drayton, Newport, Uttoxeter.
