Working for a specialist engineering firm that designs, manufactures and installs bespoke work in the construction industry.
Produce GA's working to Datum's and Grid lines. Produce detailed fabrication drawings. Design staircases, balustrades and secondary steelwork. Produce drawings using AutoCAD/Inventor/SolidWorks. All platforms are available to users. Manage projects including some of the UK’s highest profile construction projects. Work from own initiative. Communicate well with customers/suppliers.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience using AutoCAD is essential.
- Experience with BIM or Tekla essential.
- Experience in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor is essential.
- Experience within steelworks or metalworks would be highly advantageous; we will consider a CAD Designer who has used other materials.
- 3D experience vital and ideally 3‑D modelling.
Locations Commutable from: Stoke on Trent, Fenton, Longton, Uttoxeter, Cheadle, Leek, Newcastle under Lyme, Keele, Stone, Stafford and surrounding areas.
Hours: Monday – Friday. Start and finish times flexible between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum.
