Our client is an established business, based in Stoke on Trent, having experienced growth in the last few years. They are now seeking an experienced Receptionist/Administrator to oversee the running of certain office functions such as Facilities Management, Directors travel, and ordering of office supplies. This integral Reception/Office Manager role is very diverse and allows the holder to liaise with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This role will be located in the reception area, so it is customer-facing as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing phone calls, responding to emails, and taking messages.
- Organising buffets as required, sometimes picking up.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, managing filing systems, and data entry, getting paperwork ready for board meetings.
- Maintaining a tidy reception area, managing office supplies, and coordinating with vendors like cleaning or IT staff.
- Handling petty cash and processing expenses. Coding invoices for customer buffets, hotels, and taxis.
Candidate Requirements:
- A graduate who is looking to gain experience or someone who has experience in reception, front of house or reception/administration experience.
- Experience with office software (like Microsoft Office Suite), computers, phones, and other office equipment is required.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
