We are working with a well-established manufacturing business that is recruiting a Management Accountant to join its existing finance team. This is a varied role offering involvement across multiple areas of finance, including the support of other companies within the group.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing month-end management accounts
- Cashflow forecasting
- Costing
- Supporting payroll
- Cost analysis and control, including margin tracking by contract, customer, and product line
- Performing variance analysis on production costs against standard budgets to highlight efficiencies and areas of waste
- Managing inventory including stock reconciliations and ensuring accurate valuation within Sage 50
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing information for payroll
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Payroll experience is essential
- Must be confident with costings
- Be prepared to travel to other sites when required
- Experience using Sage is preferable
- Ideally part-qualified
This role is commutable from: Stafford, Eccleshall, Penkridge, Rugeley, Trentham, Stone and surrounding areas.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm – Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (Friday is working from home)
Salary: £40,000 Per Annum
