Our successful client is seeking an Export Coordinator to join their team.  This role will be supporting the Transport Manager, it’s a very customer-facing role and will be ideal for someone who likes to be busy and someone who can multi-task.  Working within the transport function this Customer Services Transport Coordinator will be working with production in preparation for when a product has been manufactured to be able to plan the despatch of the item to the customer.  The role will involve liaising with hauliers to plan deliveries for the UK and also overseas transportation. Job Description for the Export Coordinator role:  Liaising with production and packing departments to coordinate despatch times Planning delivery schedules in an efficient manner Contacting customers via phone and email to arrange deliveries across the UK and Europe prepare documentation for despatch of items – for export as well as UK-based, such as CMRs, Packing lists, and invoicing Working with export hauliers and overseas customers Production of delivery notes, delivery schedules,s and associated paperwork Arranging vehicles and keeping in contact with drivers Dealing with any problems which arise relating to the delivery of goods.
