Our client in Stoke on Trent is recruiting for an Engineering Technician Tutor to support with the completion of Engineering qualifications and Apprenticeships. You will be working closely with learners who are looking to undertake their Level 2 and 3 qualifications, where you will mentor and tutor them throughout their courses. We require candidates for the Engineering Technician Tutor to have a Mechanical Engineering qualification and have a passion for teaching new learners.
Duties for the Engineering Technician Tutor will include:
- Support learners with their Level 2 & 3 Engineering qualifications
- Provide mentoring and coaching to learners
- Train learners on how to use new machinery
- Complete both workshop and classroom-based training
- Attend learners\β place of work to assess their learning
It would be good to see candidates for the Engineering Technician Tutor role with the following:
- Minimum of 3 years\β experience within a Mechanical Engineering role
- Experience working with young people and learners
- Ideally, hold a Teaching or Assessor qualification
- A driving licence is essential
- Must be able to complete an Enhanced DBS certificate
Hours:
Monday Thursday, 8:30 am β 5:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am 3:00 pm
Salary:
Β£30,000 Per Annum
