Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting, measuring and marking surfaces to be covered
- Measuring, cutting and fastening underlay and underpadding
- Measuring, cutting and installing carpeting on floors
- Measuring, cutting and installing resilient floor coverings
- Inspecting and repairing damaged floor coverings
- Installing carpeting on walls or other surfaces
- Installing materials on counter tops and raised platforms
Qualifications:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- English language proficiency
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Physically demanding
