About the role

As our Maintenance person you will be responsible for all repairs and maintenance across our home. You'll walk the home daily to pro-actively identify any areas that need attention, whilst also conducting regular safety checks on various equipment. You'll create a maintenance programme for the home alongside our Home Manager and of course you'll interact with our residents on a daily basis - so you'll be friendly, caring and kind whilst respecting our residents' dignity at all times.

Here's Some Other Important Things You Need To Know

  • You will need to be experienced at painting and decorating.
  • Having electrical and plumbing skills would be beneficial but not essential.
  • You will need to demonstrate that you have excellent knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety and Food Safety.
  • You will keep up to date and accurate records of all checks and repairs completed and scheduled.
