About the home
The Willows, is a soon to be open care home will that will focus on supporting 23 males with complex and enduring healthcare needs. Our goal is to create a safe, enriching environment where every resident feels valued and supported.
About the role
As a Laundry Assistant you will be responsible for washing and returning garments with precision, following every care detail. Keeping supplies stocked, ensuring we never run out. Maintain a spotless, organized laundry room and more
Responsibilities include
• Launder clothes, towels, and bed linens, and return to their owner paying special attention to the washing instructions per garment
• Advise operations manager when supplies are running low, ensuring they never run out completely
• Ensure the laundry room is kept in a clean, organised manor
• Following relevant procedures when dealing with soiled and/or infectious linen
Please note that an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check is required for this role.

• Previous experience working in a similar position
• The ability to establish effective, professional and positive working relationships with colleagues
• Good personal presentation and conduct
