Chestnut Lodge care home are looking for a Cleaner to join their team, maintaining the services cleanliness.

About us: The Bramley Health Group is a leading provider of specialist health and social care services in London and the Southeast. We support men and women of working age who pose variations of mental health challenges within our homes, to maximise their independence to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. Chestnut Lodge is a 45-bedded mental health nursing home located in West Croydon, spanning across 3 floors. Our goal is to create a safe, enriching environment where every resident feels valued and supported; which is where you come in.

About the role: Cleanliness is a vital pillar in the wellbeing of our service users and site. Without cleaners, some areas of this may fall short so this role is extremely important. The purpose of this role is to ensure our service is clean, hygienic, and therefore safe for everyone.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all public rooms and bathrooms are checked/cleaned daily.
  • Each resident's room to be checked and cleaned at least once a week, or as directed.
  • Maintain cleaning records.
  • Complete weekly stock check of cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring they are also fit for purpose.

  • Be responsible for personal health and safety at work.
