Forest Lodge care home are looking for a Cleaner to join their team, maintaining the services cleanliness on a part time temporary basis. This is for approximately 1 year. The Cleaner is an important part of our team, as you help provide a safe environment for our service users to live and thrive.

About us: Bramley Health is a specialist health and social care provider. We support men and women of working age who pose variations of mental health challenges within our homes, to maximise their independence to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. Forest Lodge is a 43 bedded modern care home based in East London, with well looked after grounds and large communal areas for our service users to enjoy.

About the role: Cleanliness is a vital pillar in the wellbeing of our service users and site. Without cleaners, some areas of this may fall short so this role is extremely important! The purpose of this role is to ensure our service is clean, hygienic, and therefore safe for everyone.

  • Ensure all public rooms and bathrooms are checked/ cleaned daily
  • Each residents room to be checked and cleaned at least once a week, or as directed
  • Maintain cleaning records
  • Complete weekly stock check of cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring they are also fit for purpose

  • Be responsible for personal health and safety at work
