We are looking to hire an Admissions and Discharges Coordinator to work on a full time, permanent basis in an acute setting. Based at The Langford Centre, our mental health hospital, in Bexhill on Sea.

KEY DUTIES OF THE ADMISSIONS AND DISCHARGES COORDINATOR INCLUDE
- To effectively manage the tasks allocated by the Ward Manager.
- To answer any calls and liaise with external and internal medical professionals.
- To collect and collate medical records for the ward and store in archive storage.
- Keep full and accurate records of all archive material.
- To uphold confidentiality at all times, with particular reference to personal records of service users.
- To set up ward rounds, prepare templates, attend, take minutes, and distribute any necessary paperwork accordingly.
- To co-ordinate all admissions and discharges.
- Ensuring effective communication to commissioners, regarding available beds vacancies, admissions and discharges.
- To populate and circulate a daily hand over for commissioners.
- Provide a daily and end of day report to hospital director and external professionals.
- Update and ensure accuracy of admission and discharge information of patients.
- To populate acute services invoices for hospital director and company director.
- Liaise with family, carers and professionals to ensure invitations are provided for ward reviews.
- Booking taxis for patients.
- Co-ordinating admissions and discharges.
