At our School we aim to create and maintain a happy, welcoming, stimulating and secure environment for all of the children in our care where they can work hard and achieve their full potential. We believe that ‘Every Child Matters’ and pupils, staff, parents and local committee strive to ensure that this is a daily reality for all of our children.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, conscientious and ambitious Lunchtime Supervisor who has a passion for working in a school to join the school and an expanding team to help develop and build a successful foundation. The person will require lots of energy and enthusiasm, the ability to relate well to young children and work well in a team.

Duties include supervision of children in dining areas. You do not need to have any past experience but you do need to:

  • be someone who learns fast and is willing to take part in training
  • enjoy helping children play well together and enjoy the lunch time break
  • be flexible and show initiative
  • have high aspirations for children.

We are confident that your work with us will be rewarding and that you will find our staff team supportive. Bramley Infant School is part of The Good Shepherd Trust Academy and has well-resourced classrooms and a supportive staff team.

The GST is a multi-academy trust serving 24 schools within the Diocese of Guildford across Surrey and Hampshire. Our trust comprises both primary and secondary schools, schools affiliated to the Church of England and others who are not. Our purpose is to grow and maintain a strong network of schools within a highly supportive and sharing network: we know that schools are better when they work together sharing common values and goals.

Opportunities for staff development are a key priority for us - as a member of support staff, as a teacher, as a head teacher or as a local committee member you will have access to wide and varied professional development. We are working hard to become a more diverse organisation – which is key to our commitment “to be better, together, to ensure an ambitious education for every child in every school every day”.

We welcome applications from everyone committed to this ethos and would particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates, who are currently under-represented in the Group as a whole. We always appoint on merit. We are always open to discussing flexible working options.

Please note that we reserve the right to interview on application should a suitable candidate apply and we have the right to withdraw this advert prior to the closing date. You are therefore strongly encouraged to apply for the role as soon as possible.
