Salary: £20,092.30 per annum (not pro rata) | Hours: 34 hours per week | Rota: Mon & Tue 8:15am - 4:00pm; Wed & Thu 8:15am - 3:30pm; Fri 8:15am - 2:45pm

Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

Start: February 2026

  • Support teachers to deliver learning that is adapted to each pupil’s individual needs
  • Help pupils develop independence, confidence, and positive social skills
  • Provide targeted SEN or subject-specific support to help pupils reach their potential
  • Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement with learning
  • Work closely with colleagues across education and care to ensure a consistent, nurturing approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in the classroom and during transitions, breaktimes, and lunchtimes
  • Deliver one-to-one or small group interventions as required
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding pupil progress, wellbeing, and individual needs

Essential Requirement: A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

Bramfield House School is an independent special educational needs school for boys aged 7 - 16 years who have social, emotional, mental health, communication difficulties and associated challenging behaviours, located in rural Suffolk. The School has a committed and innovative multidisciplinary team, extensive site and excellent facilities to support both learning and extra-curricular activities. This opportunity is in Halesworth, within commutable distance of Lowestoft, Diss and surrounding areas.
