Job Overview
- Lead complex turnaround and performance improvement engagements, delivering tangible value for C‑level executives (COO, CFO, Chief Strategy Officer).
- Manage a team of 2–3 consultants per engagement, coordinating workstreams and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Act as the key link between the client and the consulting team, driving the project to completion with a focus on cost reduction, restructuring, M&A, and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute turnaround strategies for companies in distress or under‑performance.
- Analyse financial performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to maximise profitability.
- Guide clients through restructuring and M&A processes, ensuring alignment with long‑term business objectives.
- Present findings and recommendations to C‑suite stakeholders and influence strategic decision‑making.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of senior experience in performance improvement, restructuring or M&A within a top‑tier consulting firm.
- Strong background in corporate finance, financial analysis, and operational strategy implementation.
- Project experience in industry, particularly with product‑based sectors such as automotive, consumer goods & retail (supply chain), aerospace & defence, manufacturing, engineering, mining, or oil & gas.
- Advanced academic credentials – MBA or equivalent, preferably from a leading institution.
- Engineering or related degree is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in one or more European languages (Italian, German, French, Spanish) is desirable.
- Valid UK residence status and a passport allowing free travel within Europe.
