Summary
Brambles Day Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and creative individual to provide high-quality care and education, ensuring a \”home from home\” environment while integrating the Early Years Foundation Stage with tailored care.
Responsibilities
- Entertain a large group of children while maintaining a positive, safe environment.
- Deliver engaging activities and age-appropriate play, including imaginative role-play.
- Adapt to different roles and manage transitions during activities.
- Plan creative activities that spark awe and wonder, while maintaining cleanliness and safety.
- Support children’s development, including group management and counting in busy environments.
- Provide warmth, cuddles and positive interactions to children as needed.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
Desirable
- Paediatric first aid
- Food Hygiene
- 2 years post-qualification childcare experience
Other Information
Safeguarding is essential and regular updated training will be provided. All applicants are required to undertake an Enhanced DBS application; Brambles Day Nursery will cover the cost. Applicants should subscribe to the DBS Update Service and maintain the annual fee of £13.00. Successful applicants are also subject to two good references. On-site only; the nursery is managed by two experienced Managers who provide training and support to enhance skills and knowledge. This role supports a safe, stimulating environment and the best opportunities for children and families in our care.
