Drive Growth Through Disruptive Innovation & Venture Development
- Lead Brambles’ venture development within the Disruptive Innovation strategy, with a goal to identify, prototype, implement, and scale breakthrough platform and operating model innovations that can reshape our business and drive growth and expand the markets in which Brambles operates
- You’ll scout and evaluate external opportunities—from emerging technologies to new business models – and build a strong network of partners, startups, and research institutions to fuel innovation
- Manage the end-to-end venture pipeline, guiding ideas from exploration to launch and growth
- Apply your expertise in venture capital, valuation, and performance metrics to uncover high-impact investment opportunities that align with our Disruptive Innovation strategy
- Strategic Foresight: Ability to navigate uncertainty and use scenario planning to anticipate how emerging technologies and market trends will shape future opportunities
- Value Creation: Skilled in evaluating new venture opportunities and building strong business cases that support investment and long-term growth
- Execution Focus: Committed to driving innovation projects forward with discipline, ensuring progress aligns with established processes and governance
- Customer-Centric Thinking: Passion for discovering and adopting new solutions that deliver real value to both existing and future customers
- Negotiation & Risk Management: Comfortable negotiating with third parties, and assessing/ managing the risks that come with investing in disruptive ventures
- Change Leadership: Able to overcome resistance to new ideas, inspire visionary thinking, and build cross-functional support for transformative innovation
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree (preferred) in strategy and innovation management related fields
- Relevant experience in venture valuation, development, preferably in a complex multinational business environment
- Market and marketing research
- Value creation from portfolio of investment management and exit strategies
- Venture valuation and deal structure and management experience
