Join a friendly, family-run care company where your time is valued.
Bramble Homecare is looking for kind, reliable and caring people to support individuals in their own homes across Tewkesbury and the surrounding areas.
No previous care experience? No problem. If you have the right attitude and genuinely enjoy helping people, we’ll provide all the training and support you need.
BLOCK WORK – £14.00 PER HOUR
With block work, you are paid for every hour of your allocated block—not just the time spent inside clients’ homes.
For example, if you are allocated a 7am–2pm block, you will be paid for all seven hours, including the time spent travelling between your scheduled care visits.
Block lengths vary depending on the care required. A block may be 7am–12pm, 7am–1pm or 7am–2pm, but you will be paid for every hour of the block you are allocated and work.
FRAMEWORK WORK – £15.30 PER HOUR
Framework care is paid at £15.30 per hour for the time you spend providing care to clients.
You will also receive a mileage allowance of 35p per mile.
The £14.00 and £15.30 rates represent two different ways of working. They are not weekday and weekend rates.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You will visit people in their own homes and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent.
Your day could include supporting someone to wash and dress, preparing meals, helping with medication or personal care, providing companionship, or simply having a cup of tea and a chat.
Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make the biggest difference to someone’s day.
