Finance Operations Manager – Professional Services We’re looking for an experienced Finance Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day financial activities of a busy professional services firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee a talented finance team, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive efficiency across all finance processes.What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and develop a team of finance administrators across billing, credit control, cashiering, and accounts payable
- Oversee month-end operations and client accounting processes
- Ensure compliance with AML regulations and professional standards
- Manage banking relationships, reconciliations, and financial controls
- Partner with key stakeholders across the firm to resolve financial queries and support audit processes
- Champion continuous improvement and drive best practice in financial operations
Requirements:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
- Previous experience in a senior finance role, ideally in legal or professional services
- Strong leadership and team development experience
- Knowledge of legal finance operations and regulatory compliance
- Confident with finance systems (Aderant preferred) and Excel
