We are currently looking for an experienced Practice Accountant to join a growing and supportive practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a professional yet collaborative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a varied client portfolio while contributing to the continued growth and efficiency of the business. Hours: 9:00 – 5:00
Location: Near Redruth
Salary: Between £27,000 and £32,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping duties for a range of clients
- Preparation and review of VAT returns
- Preparation and review of financial statements for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies
- Preparation of tax computations
- Preparation of Personal Tax Returns and Corporation Tax Returns
- Liaising with and supporting clients on a day-to-day basis
- Administrative and compliance support tasks
- Reviewing and improving internal processes
- Managing deadlines and workflow priorities
- Monitoring compliance tasks and client progress
Requirements
- AAT qualification preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
