We are looking for a technical and IT savvy Field Service Engineer to cover the south region for an amazing company looking to train and develop an amazing engineer in their specific sector. The role is full time Monday to Friday around 38 hours per week. You will travel around the south region up to around 2 hours with some infrequent overnight stays. The ideal location for the right candidate would be Hampshire areas for ease covering clients in this region.

Role Description

The Field Service Engineer role is a full-time remote position focused on maintaining, repairing, and optimising technical equipment and systems for clients. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all equipment functions at peak efficiency. The role also involves documenting maintenance sessions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adhering to company standards and safety regulations. You will be engaging with clients to provide technical support, maintenance and ensure their satisfaction with our services. The ideal candidate will be IT savvy with a background or understanding of IT support issues.

Qualifications

  • Technical skills in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
  • Ability to handle remote work responsibilities and deliver results independently
  • Understanding and adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations
  • Experience with field service operations or in a similar engineering role is a plus
  • Relevant technical certifications or a degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client visits.
