Main Responsibilities We are recruiting for a recruitment and people officer, who will undertake the recruitment in all areas of the organisation, and support with some HR duties alongside this. The organisation is looking for a motivated and driven individual, who has strong relationship building skills. Recruitment Liaise with department heads and supervisors about current vacancies. Communicate with job applicants via phone, letter, or email, keeping them updated on their application status. Manage the Applicant Tracking System and streamline recruitment processes. Advertise vacancies both internally and externally. Maintain and update the internal job vacancy noticeboard. Research and source new advertising platforms. Build relationships with external partners (e.g., Job Centres, schools, colleges). Work with recruitment agencies as needed. Manage a candidate database and create content for vacancy alerts. Create engaging job adverts and review job descriptions. Ensure compliance with Right to Work requirements. Report and analyse recruitment statistics. Organise and attend recruitment events and job fairs. Digital Recruitment Update and maintain the recruitment website. Produce and post relevant content on social media. Research online recruitment sites for advertising opportunities.
