A satisfying role driving performance, growing talent, implementing team goals, and managing change. As our Transport Team Manager, you’ll lead the overall success of your shift, ensuring all transport standards, budgets, and targets are met. Managing a team of circa 20 people, you’ll keep everyone motivated, engaged, and on-task, ensuring our products are expertly and efficiently delivered to our valuable customers. Office-based, with occasional visits to our multi-temperature warehouse, you’ll keep an eye on everything and everyone, from the location of cages to transport cost budgets and individual personal development. You’ll also be adept at course correcting plans based on changing information.

What you bring to the mix:

  • Using data insights, trends, and team input to improve department processes
  • Prioritising customer needs to deliver solutions that exceed expectations
  • Understanding of DVLA regulations that may impact drivers
  • The ability to drive change by influencing others to see the bigger picture
  • Multiple stakeholder management skills that drive a culture of two-way feedback
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, SAP, and Transport systems (Verizon, Convey, Roadnet, Samsara)
  • CPC or the willingness to acquire CPC within your first year
