Are you passionate about learning and development? Sysco GB is looking for a dynamic Talent & Development Consultant to join our Talent (Learning) & Development team!! In this role, you\'ll design and deliver innovative learning initiatives in support of our business strategy. You\'ll collaborate with the Talent (Learning) & Development Team, HR Partners, and business leaders (partnering into our Operations teams) to execute impactful blended learning solutions that boost skills and drive positive change across our organisation.
This is a home-based role with occasional travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Partnership: Taking a consultative approach, partnering with the operations function to identify and respond to learning needs, aligned to business priorities.
- Learning Solutions: Design and implement engaging blended learning programs, focusing on making sure they stick and evaluating their success.
- Strategy Execution: Execute relevant elements of the Talent Development Strategy; turning strategic priorities into meaningful, practical outcomes.
- Programme Management: Manage large-scale, impactful learning programs in areas such as leadership, management and critical core skills, measuring impact and engagement.
- Collaboration: Partner with the Talent (Learning) & Development Team, HR Partners and business leaders to roll out learning plans that enhance skills, drive performance and support lasting change.
- Relationship Management: Build strong connections with our business and the wider Talent (Learning) & Development team to ensure seamless service, share best practices, reduce duplication, and spot new opportunities.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in learning and development, encompassing the full cycle from needs analysis to evaluation, ideally within a transport, logistics or operational environment. You should possess strong consultancy skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization. Experience managing and delivering large-scale learning programs is essential, along with a solid understanding of learning design and the capability to create engaging blended learning solutions—whether virtual, in-person, or digital. Working effectively within a matrix structure and collaborating across teams is crucial, as is the ability to deliver innovative, impactful learning solutions that drive real results. Additionally, you must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work at pace while effectively managing priorities.
