Sysco has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our European Finance Team on a 6-12 month fixed-term contract. This is a home-based role; however, it is desirable that this role works at our Covent Garden, London office once or twice per month for team meetings and collaboration with colleagues.

Reporting to the CFO, Europe (although primarily supporting the Finance Director Supply Chain and Operations; and Finance Director Commercial and Merchandising) you will play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. Partnering closely with Supply Chain, Operational, Commercial and Merchandising teams, this is a highly commercial role where you will deliver insightful analysis on costs, profitability, inventory optimisation and overall business growth drivers.

You will lead the development of standardised financial metrics, track the benefits realised from strategic investments, and provide robust reporting and analytics that support growth, margin improvement and operational efficiency.

We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded finance professional who can transform complex data into meaningful business insight. Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong academic background and experience gained within commercial finance, financial analysis or business partnering roles.

You will have a proven ability to interrogate large and complex datasets, identify trends, opportunities and risks, and translate your findings into clear recommendations that drive business performance and influence decision-making.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will be equally comfortable conducting detailed financial analysis as you are presenting insights to senior leaders and constructively challenging thinking to drive the business agenda forward.

With a natural curiosity and strong commercial acumen, you will look beyond the numbers, ask the right questions, and influence behaviours, actions and strategic outcomes across the organisation.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary, annual cash car allowance, a competitive pension scheme, a home working agreement, a flexible lifestyle benefits package, and discounts across our full range of award-winning food products.
