Sysco GB (whose UK operating companies include Brakes, Fresh Direct, KFF & Medina) are currently recruiting for a proactive Rebates Analyst to join our Finance team in Ashford, Kent on a six-month fixed term basis.
Our Finance colleagues are a central hub of knowledge, and as a Rebates Analyst within the Sales division, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring the rebate process operates efficiently, creating a great experience for our customers, and simplifying tasks where possible for colleagues.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll be responsible for reviewing the end-to-end Rebates process, identifying inefficiencies and implementing action plans to simplify existing processes. Additionally, you will play a critical role in supporting the existing team with running sales/rebate reports, reviewing Key Business Assumptions (KBAs) vs contractual commitments and completing rebate reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
This role is offering flexible hybrid working with 1-2 days based in our Kent office for team collaboration and meetings, so you must be within a commutable distance.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:- Responsible for reviewing the end-to-end rebates process, identifying inefficiencies and implementing action plans
- Prepare/check customer rebate & sales reports vs contractual commitments
- Support with the Rebates mailboxes
- Add customer specific sales forecasts into the Rebates system ensuring accurate accruals
- Complete rebate reconciliations
- Investigate anomalies created by the Rebates system and interrogate rebate set-up and sales forecasts
- Track ongoing rebate system queries and monitor resolution progress
- Act as an ambassador for finance promoting cross functional collaboration and understanding
- Support the wider Independent Finance team as required
This is a great role for someone with a strong numeric background, commercially focused and experience reviewing/improving processes. You will have excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders and departments across the business, as well as being meticulous in your analysis and able to prioritise and manage different sources of information. You will have the initiative to spot anomalies, be willing to question why and follow queries to a conclusion whilst maintaining professional and ethical standards at all times. Intermediate Excel capability will be essential.
