As a Kent Frozen Foods Warehouse Operative, you’ll be part of our Coldstore goods inward day shift team. Your responsibilities include:
- Checking the quality of our supplier’s ingredients
- Monitoring stock accuracy
- Replenishing and picking produce using a FLT/Reach Truck
Start with a full induction, with optional accredited training including forklift certification (if you don’t already have a license), first aid, and manual handling. There’s no limit to your potential; almost 90% of our managers started here. There are plenty of opportunities to advance and move roles.
You will be trained in FLT/Reach Truck operation, with an eye for detail. We’ll provide a free thermal uniform to keep you warm, but you need to be comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment. As a Warehouse Operative, you should be physically fit to lift weights of up to 25kg and have your own transport to get to the site.
