We’re seeking a proactive and reliable multi-skilled or electrically biased (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) technician for your next opportunity. You\\u2019ll become a valued member of our team who can carry out in-house maintenance of building services and equipment across three key buildings on a permanent basis. You\\u2019ll ensure reliability of the depot operations and colleague safety at our Fresh Direct (part of Sysco GB) depot in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
As a key member of our engineering team, you\\u2019ll take charge of maintaining essential building services and equipment, ensuring the reliability of our depot operations and the safety of our colleagues. From electric doors and metal detectors to cooking vessels and heated pan kettles, you\\u2019ll be responsible for the upkeep and performance of a range of critical machinery. Your role will involve carrying out scheduled lubrication routines, conducting preventative maintenance, and responding to general repairs, helping to reduce our reliance on external contractors.
You\\u2019ll be someone with experience in either electrical or mechanical engineering disciplines (18th Edition Wiring Regulations – desirable), and general facilities plumbing would be a great advantage. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, are also beneficial. Flexibility is key, as you\\u2019ll need to be available for occasional emergency call-outs.
