We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Foundation & Enablement Product Owner to join the GSC Information & Data team on a full-time, permanent basis, reporting to the Data & Analytics Lead. The Data Foundation & Enablement Product Owner for Europe will be responsible for delivery of core data assets and platforms that enable data-driven decision-making and data sharing. They will lead teams who will be responsible for acquiring data from multiple different data sources across Europe. This role will also be responsible for the transformation of data to the silver layer data model, so data is cleaned, conformed, and enriched.

We are offering this role on a hybrid working basis where you will be required to attend the office in either Covent Garden, London, or Ashford, Kent on a weekly basis, or one of our offices in Ireland.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Roadmap Planning & Execution: Own the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities, and ensure successful delivery of product features and improvements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to define product requirements, prioritize initiatives, and drive successful product outcomes.
  • Market Research & Insights: Conduct competitive analysis, customer research, and industry trend analysis to inform product decisions and ensure the product meets market demands.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor product performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven adjustments to optimize outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve product management processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and product quality.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to product development, including timelines, scope, and resources.
About you

To be successful in this role you will be familiar with technological concepts such as Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Sharing, Enterprise Integration Services and Medallion Architecture coupled with proven experience managing and developing a high-performing team of product managers. You will possess the ability to translate business needs into clear product strategies and roadmaps that drive success and be able to analyse product performance metrics and use data to drive product decisions and improvements. You’ll have exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, including executives. You’ll be capable of identifying challenges in product development and navigating complex issues with practical solutions with a deep understanding of customer needs, with the ability to advocate for the user experience in the product development process.
