Overview
Sysco are currently recruiting for a Learning Technology and Content Manager to join the team on a Full Time, permanent basis.
As a Learning Technology & Content Manager you will be responsible for the effective management, development, and delivery of learning through digital platforms across Sysco GB. This role focuses on the creation and curation of high-quality learning content to support both digital and in-person experiences. You will ensure the smooth operation and optimisation of our Learning Management System, maintain the quality and consistency of materials, and manage relationships with internal and external learning suppliers. The role also supports reporting and budget management to enable efficient and impactful learning for all Sysco GB colleagues.
This is a home-based role, however there is a requirement for occasional travel to support the needs of the business which could involve overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our Global and European colleagues to own and manage the LMS platform, ensuring availability, usability, and performance for GB colleagues
- Maintain and evolve user structures, course libraries, learning pathways, and reporting functions
- Support the Talent Development Team and subject matter experts (SMEs) to upload, assign and track learning
- Provide scalable end-user support and guidance, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage system improvements
- Curate and maintain learning libraries (internal and external content)
- Manage catalogue structure, tagging, and discoverability of learning content
- Monitor usage and effectiveness of digital content; recommend improvements based on data
- Reports on user completion of learning, particularly but not exclusively compliance learning
- Align content with overall learning strategy and business needs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and deliver engaging, high-quality learning materials (e.g. e-learning, videos, guides, toolkits)
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to content creation and development
- Support the digital delivery of programmes (virtual sessions, blended learning journeys, toolkits etc.)
- Liaise with and complete supplier set up with all external learning providers (across the Talent Development team), platform partners, and content creators as required
- Manage onboarding and contracts of third-party suppliers across the Talent Development team
- Own the learning budget administration; raise POs, track spend and reconcile invoices
- Maintain accurate records of spend, provide management reporting and ensure alignment with budget allocations
- Identify cost efficiencies and ensure compliance with procurement policies
You
We are looking for an experienced learning professional with a strong background in managing Learning Management Systems, such as Workday Learning, Cornerstone, or SuccessFactors. You have a deep understanding of learning technologies and digital learning tools, complemented by hands-on experience in learning content creation or instructional design. You’re highly organised and capable of managing multiple workstreams and deadlines with ease. Your ability to collaborate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external vendors sets you apart, and your strong communication skills ensure you can engage and influence at all levels. You bring a solid understanding of budgeting processes, purchase orders, and basic financial tracking, along with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy. You are confident in using learning analytics to inform and improve decision-making and have a strong grasp of accessibility and inclusion in the learning space. Experience working within large, complex, and matrixed organisations means you can navigate complexity with professionalism and poise.
