This is your chance to join a market leader in food distribution, Brakes (a Sysco Company) where you’ll get job security, ongoing training, and real opportunities to grow your career – all within a welcoming team that treats you like family.

You’ll spend around 80% of your time working in the warehouse and the rest of your shift taking care of on-site vehicle movements. In the warehouse, you’ll be picking and checking a mix of ambient, chilled, and frozen food items, using roll cages, PPTs, and handheld scanners to prepare stock for delivery and manage the flow of goods in and out of the depot.

The shunter side of your role will keep you close to the action. You’ll be responsible for moving our 14T, 18T, and 26T multi-temperature vehicles around site, setting and monitoring fridge/freezer temperatures, and reporting any vehicle defects. You’ll play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

You’ll receive a full induction and tailored training plan, including slow manoeuvring practice, so you’ll feel confident and supported from day one.
