As the Distribution Manager for our Aylesford KFF depot, you’ll be responsible for the effective leadership of the function, managing a large fleet and team of drivers, ensuring that all aspects of this busy distribution operation run effectively and efficiently. If you have a National/International Transport/Distribution Manager CPC license we want to hear from you!

Reporting & Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the principle Operator License holder for site, taking responsibility for the overall performance of the department and the achievement of key performance indicators. As the budget owner for the function, you will be commercially aware, using both data and management information in order to meet and exceed performance expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for the adherence to legislation, company policy, ensuring the ongoing compliance of fleet management and the safety of your team. As an ambassador for the organization, you will be expected to lead by example and ensure a positive and engaging working environment.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for an experienced manager who has led a busy and complex transport and distribution operation. You will have excellent operational knowledge, strong leadership ability, a people‑focused approach and a proven ability to drive service and cost benefits. Experience of a multi‑temp operation would be beneficial but is not essential.
