This role requires a creative problem solver with expertise in structural design, material innovation, and rapid prototyping. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing packaging solutions from initial ideation through to die-line creation and prototyping. Key Responsibilities: Develop innovative structural packaging concepts that align with brand positioning and business objectives. Create and refine dielines, ensuring feasibility for mass production while maintaining creative intent. Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Engineering, Sustainability) and external partners to develop forward-thinking packaging solutions. Utilize rapid prototyping methods to bring concepts to life, testing form, function, and user experience. Research and integrate sustainable materials and technologies to align with our sustainability goals. Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging materials, and packaging technologies. Participate in iterative design processes, including sketching, 3D modeling, and physical mockups. Ensure packaging designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor\’s degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, or related field. 6+ years of experience in packaging or structural design, preferably within FMCG or consumer goods industries. Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD), and 3D rendering tools. Hands-on experience with prototyping tools such as 3D printing, foam core modeling, and other rapid prototyping techniques. Deep understanding of materials, production processes, and sustainability principles. Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability. Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively to stakeholders. Passion for innovation and a keen eye for emerging trends in packaging.
