Brainomix is an Oxford-based AI healthcare company transforming the way patients are diagnosed and treated through advanced medical imaging software. Founded as a spin-out from the University of Oxford, Brainomix has built a leading portfolio of AI-powered imaging solutions with a strong clinical evidence base and real-world deployment across international healthcare systems.

Brainomix flagship stroke platform, Brainomix 360 Stroke, has globally more than 500 sites within its install-base and is supporting stroke networks globally in delivering faster, more consistent treatment decisions. Alongside this, Brainomix is expanding its portfolio into lung disease through Brainomix e-Lung, applying AI to support earlier identification and monitoring of pulmonary fibrosis.

As the company enters its next phase of growth, including further international expansion and potential private equity or strategic investment, we are seeking a Business Analyst to strengthen our market intelligence, commercial analysis, investment readiness and value-creation capability. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth AI healthcare SaaS company at an important stage of its development and play a central role in shaping the company’s strategic, commercial and investment narrative.

The Role

This is a senior, hands-on analytical role that combines business analysis, market research, commercial strategy, financial modelling and investor-grade storytelling. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, CFO and senior leadership team to provide robust analysis on market trends, market sizing, competitive dynamics, customer segmentation, pricing, SaaS performance metrics, and growth opportunities. The role will support investment readiness and potential fundraising or strategic investment processes, but its remit is broader: it will act as a strategic business analysis function for the company, helping leadership make better-informed decisions on markets, products, partnerships, pricing, growth strategy and value creation.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, able to translate complex data into clear commercial insight, and confident preparing materials for senior stakeholders, boards, investors and strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence & Strategic Analysis
    • Develop and maintain a clear view of key market trends across AI healthcare, medical imaging, stroke, lung disease, as well as other disease verticals, SaaS, digital health and clinical AI adoption.
    • Conduct market sizing and segmentation analysis across priority geographies, including Europe and the US.
    • Analyse customer segments, reimbursement pathways, procurement models, adoption barriers and growth drivers in healthcare systems.
    • Track competitor positioning, product capabilities, pricing models, market share, funding activity and strategic partnerships.
    • Produce high-quality market insight reports and strategic analysis to support leadership decision-making.
  • Commercial & Growth Analysis
    • Support the development of commercial strategy, including pricing, packaging, go-to-market models, customer segmentation and international expansion.
    • Analyse sales performance, pipeline quality, conversion rates, customer profitability and growth opportunities.
    • Provide insight into scalability, margin improvement, capital allocation and value-creation opportunities.
    • Support business cases for new markets, products, partnerships and strategic initiatives.
    • Work with commercial, product and clinical teams to translate market and customer insights into actionable growth plans.
  • SaaS Metrics & Financial Modelling
    • Develop analysis of healthcare SaaS unit economics and performance metrics, including ARR, churn, retention, expansion, cohort analysis, customer lifetime value, CAC, gross margin and customer profitability.
    • Build and maintain investment-grade financial models, including integrated forecasts, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis and value-creation modelling.
    • Develop dashboards and KPI frameworks to support management, board and investor reporting.
    • Ensure that commercial assumptions are evidence-based, clearly articulated and aligned with market dynamics.
  • Investment Readiness & Investor Materials
    • Support potential private equity, strategic investment or fundraising processes, including due diligence, financial analysis, investor presentations and management materials.
    • Help shape a clear, credible and compelling equity story alongside the CEO, CFO and wider leadership team.
    • Prepare market, competitor, financial and commercial analysis for board meetings, investor updates and strategic discussions.
    • Work with external advisors where required, including corporate finance, legal, commercial diligence and strategy teams.

Requirements

You are a commercially minded analyst with strong strategic, financial and market analysis capability. You can move confidently between detailed modelling, market research and executive-level storytelling. • Science or finance degree and MBA
  • 3+ years of relevant experience working as an analyst for a VC, PE or consultancy firm or at a SaaS Healthtech company

  • Confidence working with senior leadership, investors, advisors and board-level stakeholders.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced growth environment.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in healthcare SaaS, AI, medical imaging, digital health or medtech.
  • Familiarity with UK, European or US healthcare systems, procurement models and reimbursement dynamics.
