What You Do

  • Set the Strategic Direction for Data Services: own the vision, roadmap, and practice-wide standards across BI, Data Science, digital analytics, and Google Marketing Platform, ensuring each team is pulling in the same direction and delivering to a consistent quality bar.
  • Lead the AI Overhaul of Data Services: drive the transformation of how data services teams work, embed AI into every practice area, and build the processes, tools, and skills that make Brainlabs’ data delivery faster, more rigorous, and harder to replicate.
  • Own the Commercial Performance of the Practice: be accountable for data services revenue and growth, identify expansion opportunities within existing clients, contribute to new business pitches, and build a pipeline of data services work across the agency.
  • Provide Technical Leadership Across Disciplines: set the standard for technical excellence across tagging and analytics, MMM, BI, and GMP, maintain depth across each to lead expert practitioners, challenge their thinking, and make sound calls on approach and quality.
  • Build and Develop the Leadership Team: manage the practice leads and senior practitioners within data services, create clear development pathways, run structured coaching conversations, and build the succession depth the practice needs to grow.
  • Represent Data Services Externally: present at C‑suite and senior marketing leadership level, support major client pitches, and contribute to Brainlabs’ market reputation through thought leadership and industry presence.

Who You Are

  • A Multi‑Disciplinary Data Leader: have a track record of leading marketing data teams across more than one discipline, likely spanning tagging and analytics, MMM, and BI, whether built in agencies or in‑house.
  • Technically Credible Across the Stack: have enough depth across analytics, data science, and measurement to lead expert practitioners, challenge their work, and make sound technical judgements, even where you are not the specialist in the room.
  • AI‑First in Your Approach: have a clear, practical vision for how AI transforms data services delivery and the leadership conviction to make that change happen at team and practice level.
  • Commercially Driven: have owned revenue targets and grown a book of business, with a genuine instinct for where data creates commercial value and how to translate technical capability into client investment.
  • A Builder of High‑Performing Teams: develop leadership capability in the people below you, create environments where technical excellence and commercial drive coexist, and hold yourself accountable for the performance of your whole team.
  • A Compelling Communicator: present to C‑suite clients and internal leadership with equal confidence, translating complex data capability into narratives that land with people who don’t live in spreadsheets.
