A fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our well-established and dedicated team of Healthcare Professionals in the beautiful Hitchin countryside. Working 3 out of 7 days, we provide a great work-life balance while you develop your career.

Stagenhoe is a Brainkind specialist neurological care centre based in Hertfordshire, caring for people aged 18 and over with a range of neurological conditions. We provide the care people need to optimise their health and wellbeing, maximise their independence, and support their emotional and social needs.

Our assessment centres, rehabilitation units, and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to support and help improve the lives of people with a neurological condition or brain injury.

About the role:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care using evidence-based guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the inter-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Maintain all records in line with corporate policies and procedures and NMC guidelines.
  • Carry out all clinical care in line with Brainkind policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the care team provides all care in line with the inter-professional evidence-based care plan.
  • Where appropriate, be responsible for the management of patient care during the shift.

About you:

  • A registered nurse with post-registration experience in the clinical field.
  • Knowledge of best clinical practice for the client group.
  • Awareness of current legislation within the independent care sector.
  • Demonstrable continuing professional development.
  • Experience of nurse-led management of long-term conditions.
  • Committed to service user involvement.
  • Clinical leadership skills.
  • Skills in leading clinical practice development for the client group.
