MAIN PURPOSE
The Regional Property Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of property-related projects across a designated region.
This includes overseeing capital works, refurbishments, relocations, and maintenance programmes to ensure properties are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.
The role requires strong project management capability, stakeholder engagement, and a clear understanding of property and estates management.
- MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Delivery
- Lead and manage multiple property projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, programmes, and budgets
- Procure and manage external consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, including senior management, operational teams, and regional leaders
- Build strong working relationships with external partners such as landlords, local authorities, and contractors
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations
- Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts
- Ensure effective cost control and value for money across all projects
- Support business case development and investment appraisals
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all projects adhere to health & safety legislation and best practice (CDM Regulations where applicable)
- Undertake risk assessments and ensure mitigation measures are in place
- Maintain accurate project documentation and audit trails
- Property & Asset Management Support
- Work closely with estates/property teams to align projects with wider property strategy
- Contribute to asset planning, lifecycle management, and sustainability initiatives
- Support condition surveys and prioritisation of capital works
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in property or construction project management
- Strong knowledge of building construction, refurbishment, and maintenance
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong financial and budget management capability
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation (e. g., CDM Regulations)
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience working in a regional or multi-site environment
- Knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency in buildings
