Our assessment centres, rehabilitation units and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to support people to regain the skills they have lost. Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of high standards of personalised nursing care for service users.
  • Leads the care team in providing the best possible quality care and support to service users and their carers/family.
  • Responsible for working alongside and/or supporting volunteers within their team.
  • Maintaining good communication and liaison with all other departments, internal and external to Brainkind.

Qualifications required:

  • Completion of NMC Standards for Student Supervision and/or Assessment or willingness to complete training.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.

Experience, Skills and Ability:

  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of current legislation within the independent care sector.
  • Experience in neurological or palliative care is desirable.
  • Able to work both within a team and independently.
  • Able to implement and monitor clinical standards.
  • Able to actively support and participate in change.
  • Able to resolve problems and identify and implement solutions.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable skills in leadership and supervision.
