Team Leader – Specialist Neurorehabilitation

Are you an experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader looking to progress your career within specialist neurological rehabilitation?

Brainkind is looking for a compassionate and motivated Team Leader to join our dedicated team at Kerwin Court in Horsham.

This is an opportunity to lead a team delivering specialist rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injuries, helping people regain independence, rebuild confidence and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals.

Working alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Speech & Language Therapists, you'll play an important role in supporting both the people we support and the Rehabilitation Support Worker team.

About the Role

As Team Leader, you'll provide day-to-day leadership, supervision and support to a team of Rehabilitation Support Workers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered in line with individual rehabilitation plans.

You'll work closely with the multidisciplinary team to create a positive environment that supports rehabilitation, independence and outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise and support a team of Rehabilitation Support Workers.
  • Ensure person-centred support is delivered in line with individual rehabilitation plans.
  • Promote independence and positive outcomes for the people we support.
  • Support staff through supervision, coaching and development.
  • Maintain high standards of care, professionalism and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Support quality audits, safeguarding, health & safety and incident reporting.
  • Build positive relationships with families, professionals and external partners.
  • Provide support across other Brainkind services within the division where required.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting others to develop.

You'll ideally have

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to complete within 12 months.
  • Previous experience working within a care, support or rehabilitation environment.
  • Experience supervising or leading a team, or be ready to take the next step into leadership.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A flexible, proactive and positive approach.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety and relevant care legislation.
  • A genuine passion for helping people achieve greater independence.
