Hitchin Brainkind Stagenhoe has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join their dedicated team of healthcare professionals working in a beautiful historical building providing care and slow stream rehabilitation to people with neurological conditions. You will provide an occupational therapy service by assessing, implementing and evaluating programmes of person-centred care as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

About the role:

  • We are looking for someone with a creative and person centred approach, who can develop treatment and support plans that enhance function and quality of life.

  • Leadership of a small team of therapy assistants and activities co-ordinators.

About you:

  • Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current and valid Registration with Health & Care Professions Council.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
  • An ability to work autonomously and to set own and support others' priorities.
  • Ability to build effective team working relationships and excellent leadership skills.
  • Desirable experience of working in a relevant setting, which can include practice placements.
