Salary: £12.91 per Hour with a 0.37p Location Allowance (£13.28 per hour)
Hours: 15hrs per week, 2 shifts per week as rostered by the Head Chef. Shift times 7.00-15.00 and to work alternate weekends.

MAIN PURPOSE:
To assist in the provision of meals and refreshments, and the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible to assist in the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments
- Responsible for washing up used utensils, pans and crockery in the dishwasher, hand washing certain items as appropriate
- To clean kitchen work surfaces, equipment, floors, fridges, freezers and other storage cupboards in line with cleaning schedules and record as instructed
- Responsible to ensure all equipment is stored away and the kitchen left clean and tidy at the end of each shift
- Reporting of equipment faults, repair and maintenance needs in line with local procedures
- Monitoring and reporting supplies requirements
- To record all information as required by Brainkind policies and procedures
- To ensure that meals and refreshments are attractive to service users and in line with Brainkind standards
- To assist the Head Chef and Chef to provide services that meet the Brainkind and regulatory body standards
- Facilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service, the post holder is expected to maintain a safe working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and occasionally taking on reasonable additional tasks
ABOUT YOU:
- Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willing and able to complete within 2 weeks of starting employment
- Able to work as part of a team
