- Regional Property Project Manager to join our
Property & Estates team and lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital, refurbishment, maintenance and property improvement projects across multiple services.

The Opportunity
Reporting into the senior property leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a varied programme of property projects across a regional portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget.
You will work closely with operational leaders, service managers, contractors, consultants and senior stakeholders to ensure our properties remain fit for purpose, compliant and capable of supporting exceptional care delivery.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong stakeholder management, commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across geographically dispersed locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery
- Lead multiple property and estates projects from inception through to completion.
- Deliver capital works, refurbishments, service relocations and property improvement programmes.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines and resource requirements.
- Procure and manage contractors, consultants and external suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement effective mitigation plans.
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality, cost and programme objectives.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key liaison between property, operational and senior leadership teams.
- Build strong relationships with service managers, regional leaders, landlords and external partners.
- Provide regular project updates, reporting and presentations to stakeholders.
- Support services through periods of change, refurbishment and project delivery.
- Financial & Commercial Oversight
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and expenditure.
- Drive value for money whilst maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Support investment appraisals and business case development.
- Monitor contractor performance and commercial outcomes.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and internal governance requirements.
- Maintain strong health and safety standards across all projects, including CDM compliance where applicable.
- Undertake risk assessments and ensure appropriate controls are implemented.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records and audit trails.
- Property Strategy & Asset Management
- Support wider property and estates strategies across the organisation.
- Contribute to asset lifecycle planning and capital investment programmes.
- Support condition surveys and prioritisation of estate improvements.
- Assist with sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives across the portfolio.
About You
We are looking for an experienced project professional with a strong background in property, construction, estates or facilities project management.
You will be confident managing multiple projects across different locations and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience delivering property, construction, refurbishment or estates projects.
- Strong understanding of building construction, maintenance and asset improvement programmes.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously across a regional or multi-site portfolio.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Budget management, forecasting and commercial oversight experience.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and project compliance requirements.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage competing priorities.
Desirable
- Professional qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, CIOB or RICS.
- Experience within healthcare, care, charitable, education or similarly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of sustainability, environmental initiatives and energy efficiency projects.
- Experience working within a geographically dispersed estate portfolio.
