The predicted salary is between 500 - 1500 £ per month.

Brainkind have a network of services across the UK that support people with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions. Our neurological centres, residential homes, hospitals, and supported living services across the UK are there to help people wherever they are in their journey.

As a Wellbeing and Activities Volunteer you will be participating in activities that enhance the overall well-being and quality of life of the people we support. Activities may include:

  • Supporting the activities team with events and daily activities
  • Supporting Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy teams
  • Engaging individuals with arts and crafts, music, or other creative activities
  • Socialising with residents and fostering a sense of community
  • Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests
  • Assisting individuals in accessing resources and activities within the local community
  • Organising and leading your own creative sessions, if desired!

Ideally, we hope you will choose to volunteer 3-6 hours a week, however all our roles are flexible, and times should be agreed with your local centre.

In addition to the specific duties and responsibilities outlined in this profile, all Brainkind volunteers should be aware of their specific responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to undertaking relevant checks, training, and following all Brainkind’s policies and procedures
  • Adhering to health and safety and fire regulations and cooperate with the charity in maintaining good standards of health and safety
  • Promoting a positive attitude towards diversity and inclusion
  • Demonstrating a commitment to Brainkind’s aims, objectives and core values
  • All volunteers are expected to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information, including following data protection regulations, to protect those that we support
