Location: Broadbridge Heath, Horsham, Slinfold.

Salary: Up to £14.21 per hour plus a £1 location allowance.

Kerwin Court delivers specialist neuro‑rehabilitation to adults with acquired brain injury in a residential setting near Broadbridge Heath.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised support to adult residents, following individual support plans.
  • Assist residents with independent living skills, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities and socialising.
  • Encourage and guide residents to regain the skills and confidence needed for independent living.
  • Support residents to safely access the community, including assistance with driving where appropriate (drivers preferred – unit vehicle provided).
  • Support residents in daily routines and the development of self‑management strategies.

  • Genuine empathy for residents, with positivity, patience and resilience.
  • Excellent communication skills and good literacy.
  • Strong teamwork orientation and pride in collaborative work.
  • Effective time‑management skills, with ability to prioritise workload.
  • Driver’s licence and willingness to drive as required – unit vehicle provided.
