Our assessment centres, rehabilitation units and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to support people to regain the skills they have lost. What you’ll do:

  • Be a trusted advisor – Provide expert guidance on disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence and all other people related matters, ensuring fairness and compliance with employment law and best practice.
  • Coach and empower managers – Help leaders build confidence and capability in handling people processes. Provide pragmatic, consistent, and timely advice aligned with employment law and company policies to minimise formal cases and resolve issues fairly.
  • Manage internal investigations into complex issues, including gross misconduct and serious SOVA cases.
  • Advise and manage cases on disciplinary, grievance, capability/performance, absence, and other people-related processes, ensuring compliance with law and best practice.
  • Support people managers through coaching, guidance, and attendance at formal hearings to achieve fair and robust outcomes.
  • Assist People Services with restructuring projects, redundancies, TUPE, policy development, and preparation of investigation reports and case documentation.
  • Report on ER case volumes, trends, and high-risk cases; support Employment Tribunal preparation and defence when required.
  • To carry out any other task assigned by the ER Manager.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in HR/ER advisory roles.
  • Educated to degree/comparable NVQ level or equivalent.
  • Strong up to date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Skilled in managing investigations and advising on complex ER issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure with high caseloads, prioritise, and deliver results.
