Brainlabs is the media agency built to answer one question: what's actually driving profit? Founded in 2012 by Daniel Gilbert, we were built by engineers before we were a media agency. Today, 1,000+ Brainlabbers across five continents use our proprietary agents, built on 32 media tools and over 2,500 logged experiments, to help brands connect every channel they plan and buy to one thing: the bottom line.
As an SEO Manager at Brainlabs, you will deliver excellent work for clients and make a genuine impact on both the accounts you work on and the people around you. You will help define how campaigns are set up and measured, spot opportunities to get more out of the work, and bring new ideas to clients using our test-and-learn approach. This includes keeping pace with how search is changing, particularly as AI-powered features and generative engines become a bigger part of the picture, and feeding that knowledge back into guidelines, playbooks and processes.
What you do:
- Using your SEO knowledge, you will be responsible for delivering campaigns that outperform KPIs, on time and to budget.
- You will start to define campaign delivery plans and set meaningful measurement targets.
- You will track and optimise campaigns, spotting what’s working and acting on what isn’t.
- You will be a day-to-day point of contact for clients, handling tasks and deliverables with confidence.
- You will develop, implement and follow guidelines and processes, and contribute ideas around automation and process improvement.
- You will contribute to the SEO practice roadmap, including how we approach AI Search, from optimising for AI Overviews to understanding how generative engines like Perplexity and ChatGPT Search affect organic visibility.
- You will mentor less experienced colleagues, helping grow capability and knowledge across the practice.
Who you are:
- Strong SEO delivery track record with at least two years of experience.
- Genuinely passionate about SEO and curious about where search is heading, including AI-powered search features and what they mean for how clients get found.
- Demonstrable success in improving campaigns through automation, process improvements and technology adoption.
- A good understanding of how other channels work alongside SEO.
- A confident, engaging and authentic communicator who cares about quality and continuous learning.
- Keen to grow the people around you.
- Strong presentation skills, with solid data analysis and reporting ability.
- Attentive to detail, methodical and process-led.
How you succeed:
- You live the culture code every day.
- Campaigns are created and delivered to the right standard.
- Internal targets on technology adoption and process improvement are met.
- Quality assurance metrics across all campaigns you lead are hit.
- Client satisfaction targets, both internal and external, are met.
- Learning certifications are created and completed across the practice.
- You are actively involved in mentoring less experienced SEO colleagues.
