Brafe Engineering Limited have an immediate requirement for a competent Quality Inspector to join their team based in Woodbridge, Suffolk. Brafe Engineering Limited are an employee-owned company and we are a world leading UK manufacturer of high specification alloy castings supporting global customers with an end-to-end single service solution.

To gain a full understanding of, and become versatile in all inspection processes including:

  • Dimensional Inspection
  • Visual Inspection
  • Hydrostatic Pressure Testing
  • Magnetic Particle Testing
  • Calibration of Measuring Equipment
  • Part Marking

Training will include:

  • Understanding of Engineering Drawings along with associated Geometrical Tolerancing
  • Operation of Co-Ordinate Measuring Machines (CMM’s) and traditional hand-held measuring equipment
  • Operation of other equipment required to fulfil tasks as required
  • Inspection techniques and procedures
  • Raising of reports and associate certification
  • The handling and reporting of non-conforming product

The successful candidate will already possess a technical background, either academically or otherwise. The position is ideally suited to a person who has a desire to excel in an Engineering discipline.

You will work 37 hours a week (Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 16:30, Friday 08:30 – 16:00). Holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays. Great benefits are on offer including a highly competitive pension and life cover. All PPE included including Overalls and Workwear.
