Brafe Engineering Limited have an immediate requirement for a competent, Multi-skilled Machinist to join their team based in Woodbridge, Suffolk. You’ll be working with our DN Solutions Puma SMX 3100 High Performance Multi Axis Mill Turn Machines (Fanuc control 31i), Haas CNC mills and lathes, and Grob 5 axis (Siemens control) machines. Training can be given to suitable applicants.

The successful Multi-skilled CNC Machinist will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor and Head of Machining. Your key duties will include:
- Working from detailed technical drawings and specifications and working to tight tolerances.
- Programming, setting and operating CNC machines.
- Editing and proving programs (experience in Fanuc, Siemens and Haas Control Systems).
- Experience in CAD/CAM would be beneficial.
- Machining exotic materials, including Duplex, Super Duplex, Aluminum Bronze, Inconel, Monel, Titanium and Stellite.
- Working with very small batches and one-off pieces.

- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, while retaining quality standards and eradicating scrap.
- Forward thinking individual, able to challenge the status quo and develop and suggest new methods of machining.
- Experience using Fanuc, Siemens and Haas Controls is essential.
- Dynamic and capable of meeting deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for engineering, forever pushing the boundaries of Machining, embracing and striving with the latest technological developments.
An excellent salary negotiable depending on experience. You will work 37 hours a week (Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 16:30, Friday 08:30 – 16:00). Holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays. Healthy overtime opportunities are likely. Great benefits are on offer including: a highly competitive pension and life cover.
